Hi, I’m Georgia Potter, the photographer behind Darcy Anne Photography. Originally from Opelousas and now based in Church Point, Louisiana, I’ve been capturing meaningful moments through my lens since 2019. Photography has been more than just a passion for me; it’s a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and connect with people on a deeper level. The name “Darcy Anne” holds a special place in my heart, it’s my middle name, passed down from my grandmother and great-grandmother. It represents the heart and soul I put into every photo session. Whether it's a family shoot or a milestone moment, I’m here to help you remember it beautifully.
Why i became a photographer
I became a photographer at 16, just taking senior photos for my friends, and I’ve been hooked ever since. What started as a fun way to support the people around me quickly grew into a deep passion. Each shoot has taught me something new and helped me grow, not just as a photographer, but as a person. Over the years, I’ve expanded into family sessions, headshots, newborns, maternity, mommy and me, and so much more. My favorite part of what I do is making people feel confident, seen, and celebrated through my lens. Capturing real moments and turning them into lasting memories is what fuels my love for photography every day.

3.Picture time
My goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I know it can feel a little awkward at first, but don’t stress! I’ll guide you every step of the way so you can relax, have fun, and let your natural self shine through.
4.Delivering photos
Once your session is complete, the editing process begins! This is the most exciting part , where your photos come to life. All final images will be delivered within two weeks, beautifully edited and ready to enjoy.
